Who is Olivia Booth ?

Olivia Booth is an exciting new artist. An emerging singer-songwriter who is as comfortable performing as a solo artist as she is with her full backing band.

Originating from North-West England, she has travelled the length and breadth of the UK following her music dreams. Having moved to Brighton aged 16 to study music she honed her talents at Open Mic nights and has since been seen gracing the stages of prestigious venues like the O2 Arena London, Patterns and Komedia in Brighton, EBGBs and The Zanzibar Club, Liverpool, plus Maxwell Hall, The Deaf Institute in Manchester and many more.

Now living in Manchester, this songwriting student writes from the heart. She is inspired by real life events and her sensationally descriptive storytelling allows the listener to clearly connect with the context and messages of her songs. Her powerful, hauntingly beautiful vocals bring the emotionally evocative lyrics of her songs to life, resonating with all genres and audiences.

Olivia's sound is an eclectic mix of indie pop with some folk, rock, country occasional R&B and even sometimes gypsy influences. Her sound transforms seamlessly from acoustic to big drum and guitar driven band tracks, moving from ballads to explosions of sound, sometimes in the same song!

As a performer Olivia is captivating, having been described by one critic as 'mesmerising and enchanting'. Her stage presence is magnetic, drawing her audience in and making them part of the experience. She has a prowess for live performance and delivers stunning vocals across an extensive repertoire every time.

Her ambition is to continue to write and perform original music that appeals across genres and remains authentically her. From strong messages such as the soul searching 'Let's Talk' which touches on Men's Mental Health, to the up tempo and cheeky 'Satisfied' or poignant 'Wasted' and 'Victim' she does not disappoint. One to watch and as she is busy recording and preparing to release more music, many exciting things to come!

'm a music artist and Singer Songwriter from Warrington in North West UK.

Currently studying songwriting at BIMM Manchester, after spending 2 years in Brighton where I loved being a Northern lass who migrated South for the love of all things music.

My sound is a blend of indie pop, rock, folk, with a splash of country storytelling thrown in to take the listener on their own emotional journey.

I perform either as a solo acoustic artist or with my amazing band, whichever way, the audience is guaranteed authentic original music, good fun and plenty of entertainment!
